Tina Turner update

OprahtThursday (tomorrow) is the day "Oprah" airs the interview with Tina Turner. That's the episode where Turner announces the 2008 tour and says the first show will be Oct. 1 at Sprint Center. She also says tickets will go on sale May 12, this coming Monday. Official news should come out today or tomorrow, including other stops on the North American tour.

Ticketmaster has posted the Oct. 3 and Oct. 6 shows in Chicago and nearby Rosemont, Ill. Pre-sales for those shows start at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Prices are $59.50 to $150.

As of 1 p.m. today, the Sprint Center show hadn't been posted (and sources at AEG hadn't returned our calls/e-mails).
