Tonight's TV heroes: Republic Tigers

A Kansas City band will grab some spotlight on the other coast tonight: The Republic Tigers are scheduled to perform on "Late Night With David Letterman." Air time is 10:30 p.m. on Channel 5. Tune in early and catch the Piedmont Bird Callers.

The Republic Tigers on Letterman and David Cook will be on Leno tonight (don't think he's singing, though)! KC will represented quite well!

i loved the record bar t-shirt during the letterman performance. a nice nod of the head, thank you to those guys. also, letterman walking over asking them where they are from and getting "kansas city, missouri" out right before the show ended was awesome.

I missed it. I was in airport hell. I heard from a friend of theirs who was in the studio that it went real well. And Kenn texted me that afternoon during reherarsal that it was nearly sub-freezing in the theater.
