I saw them at SXSW in March. They're good live, but not exactly dynamic. They'll be at Liberty Hall in Lawrence on Sept. 11, a Thursday. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow (June 28). No price listed yet, but tickets to the St. Louis show are $19.50 -- a bargain.

They looked pretty fried down in Austin, and they admitted they'd been going hard for a couple days. Maybe it will help that the hype about them has subsided.

I have the worse concert karma ever. I go to school out of state, and I always miss the good shows. I had to vacate my down two days before Radiohead was set to play D.C. and I couldn't find anyone to crash with. Coldplay had to rearrange their tour dates so I'll be here when they're in D.C. and in D.C. when they'll be here. And now this. This really blows. Have fun for me.
