how very tragic. could this mean the end of dmb? can't really see them carrying on without him or even hiring a new saxophonist.
it seems when bands that have been together for a very long time lose an original founding member, it's all over.

They'd been using a replacement already, Jeff Coffin from Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. See the review of last night's show in LA (above).
