!!!

That's...awesome.

The GET UP KIDS are having a reunion? What have they been apart - maybe three years? WHY DON'T you try waiting 20 plus years for some reunions like I have with acts like HAN HALEN, STRAY CATS or the POLICE? At LEAST they're more tolerable than the NUMB KIDS ON MY CROCK - aren't those idiots playing Sprint here soon? If I had the time, I'd rally some friends together and hold up a sign saying "Lame-O Concert Here Tonight". Never know, might actually make the news. NEW KIDS - give us a break - PLEASE. Would love to hear what ANDREW DICE CLAY would say about those no-talented idols. Ha! Bubba babbled it, you read it here.

I love Han Halen.

Also: Get Up Kids are NOT New Kids On The Block.

Bubba

Manvill, I know that the GET UP KIDS and NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK are two different bands. Sheez! What do you think I've been smoking? Thought about catching the EAGLES, but I wasn't sure I'd be able to stay awake during the entire concert. Besides, I didn't feel like putting out $97 for a nose bleed seat. Been upstairs at Sprint Center in section 210 once and SERIOUSLY, I felt light-headed. I HAD to move. It was horrible!

bubba, thanks for letting us all know that a band is required to be together for 20 years before anything can be considered a "reunion." i did not know that.

and i don't remember anything in this post about NKOTB, so why the angry rant? don't forget that tim once said that everyone has some guilty pleasures - and that some people's favorite music might be the stuff of nightmares to someone else.

do i enjoy NKOTB? no. but there are a lot of people who will be there because NKOTB songs were a big part of their life and it will be entertaining and fun to go experience that 'teenage joy' again.

live and let live and lighten up.
