Britney Spears' show time moved up

The starting time of Thursday’s Britney Spears show at the Sprint Center has been moved up to 7 p.m. – 30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled, according to the Sprint Center management. Doors to the arena will open at 6 p.m.

He'll be at the Sprint Center on July 28, a Tuesday. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. We'll post ticket info when it arrives.

Lucinda to give fans a kickback

If you go to one of her shows this summer or of you've been recently, your ticket can be used as credit against some of her merch. (And there's a lukewarm rumor circulating that she'll come through here this summer). Here's what she said, via her label, Lost Highway:

Metallica and Coach Roy's undies

This commercial for Metallica's Guitar Hero (or "The Guitar HE-ro," as Bobby Knight calls it) capped a sad and unsightly weekend for local/Big 12 basketball fans. Roy "No Rhythm" Williams in his boxers was on no list of things I want to see before I die. (And where's his Jayhawk sticker?) At least Rick Majerus wasn't in this thing.

Review: The Eagles

The size of the crowd that showed up at the Sprint Center on Saturday was a pleasant surprise considering: the bad weather; the threat of worse weather; and the ailing economy. On top of that, the only band on the bill nearly filled this arena four months ago. On a night like this and in times like these, who can afford high-priced re-runs?

iTunes to raise price of 'hot' tracks

On April 7, they'll break the 99-cent barrier and charge $1.29 for select hit singles and other tracks -- a 30 percent price hike. It's part of a new tiered-pricing system that will also include 69-cent tracks. A few industry wonks weigh in on the price increase in this L.A. Times story. 

Warped Tour announces bands

The Architects are on the list; so is P.O.S., Bad Religion, Shooter Jennings (?) and Flogging Molly. It stops at Sandstone on Aug. 4. Specific lineups have not been announced, so we don't know who'll show up in Bonner Springs. (Go here for  P.O.S.'s cover of  Pearl Jam's "Why Go.")
