They will be at the Uptown Theater on July 14, a Tuesday. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. Asia features "all four original members." Yes does not. It is down to Chris Squire, Steve Howe and Alan White plus Oliver Wakman (Rick's son) and singer Benoit David.
VERY cool, thank you for the great info, I am surprised this is at the uptown, and not the sprint centre

I'm thinking the Uptown will be plenty big.

Does that mean Steve Howe will be playing both shows??? He is an original member of both bands, right?

Joe, the following is from that article linked above...
For this tour, YES will be joined by Special Guest Asia, with Howe, a cornerstone member of both groups, performing as part of each band's set, alongside original Asia members, including ex-YES and Buggles keyboardist Geoff Downes, ELP's Carl Palmer on drums and former King Crimson and UK bassist/guitarist/vocalist John Wetton.
Said Howe: "This is a monumental event and even though it will be a challenge, I am up for it."

ooooooh...a dilema. Same night as Gov't Mule in the crossroads....

Sarcasm? Certainly no dilemma for me...the Mule all the way. If Haynes is aware of this, might be a nice touch if he throws a Yes cover into their set. Not the typical band to cover but Joe Bonamassa certainly does a nice take on Heart of the Sunrise, so why not?

I'm thinking because Backyard Tire Fire is opening for the Mule I should have plenty of time to catch their second set after Asia/Yes. Should be a fun night.

Tix $65-$155? Should've gone to catch YES in St. Louis late this last fall at the Pageant for like $35 per ticket. Their new vocalist is okay. Is JON ANDERSON ever supposed to get back with them?

Carl Palmer - yeah!! But WHY on Mule night?? arrgh!!

Anyone know what "VIP" package means?
There are about three different tiers of Yes-Asia tickets, including "Premium," "Meet-and-Greet" and "VIP."...None are inexpensive
