Nice - Glasvegas will be frickin' awesome!

Gotta hand it to Gomez - a British band that comes around to KC more often than most American bands.

mankvill

Gomez is going to be at Wakarusa as well!

Dutch Rudder

Gomez has jumped the shark - I've heard "Operate" on the piped-in-influence-purchase-inducing music at HyVee. The first time I thought nothing of it. The second, I was sure it was no accident.

Both times I walked out with a 12 pack of PBR and a carton of Parliaments.

the last gomez show @ the beaumont was great. their new disc is growing on me as well. their live shows are far better than their studio recordings, IMHO. i'll likely be there.

*nice name & reference, dutch. would you care to share with everyone else on the board what it means?

Rusty Trombone

Andrew - Dutch can't explain it. This is a family newspaper.

andrew

thank you rusty, that was the joke. i KNOW what it means. why would i have said "nice name & reference" if i didn't know what it meant? by the way, nice name and reference. would you care to share with the rest of the board what a rusty trombone is? :-)
