Rox

what goes around, comes around, gotta love these guys, again.

Bubba

I'm doing cartwheels! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

mankvill

Any openers announced? If there was a good one (Anvil, anyone?), I might consider the close to $100 ticket price.

Bubba

Mankvill, if ANVIL opens, as few of us will be maybe sh***ing our pants. Would love to see MANOWAR or even MOTORHEAD as opener - I know - dream on!

Sin City Disciple

I think Motorhead will already be touring w/ Horton Heat in support at the end of the summer or early fall?

Bubba

Sin City Disciple - I'm JUST saying - it WOULD be nice if LEMMY and crew were to pull in Sprint on a night off to support AC/DC. Heard a few older concert goers tell me that Kansas City - in the '70's and early '80's would have many UNEXPECTED cool shows happen here in town as such. Now, everything is simply TOO corporate

3fer

motorhead, nashville pussy, RHH at the midland late september

Sin City Disciple

I remember there being kind of a stink the last time they came thru, because of the ticket prices. Assuming they are the same, is 9 months too soon to go back to the well on a $100 ticket?

mankvill

Oh jeeze, if Manowar opened for AC/DC, that would be about the best thing ever.

Bubba

Mankvill, yeah - YOU got it, King-Mo-Sabi! If MANOWAR were to open for AC/DC, I'd be waiting out front at 6 pm with my jaw to the pavement. Bubba said it - don't forget it.

As for the JONAS BROTHERS, they're gay!!

Mike

It's the same opener this time as it was in January. A band called the Answer. They were okay but not memorable at all.

Dale

Who needs an opener? ACDC!

Bubba

Have a good idea for an opener for AC/DC - how about an AC/DC wanna be like KROKUS (remember them?), DIRTY LOOKS or even ACCEPT - "Balls To The Wall"!

pbt1977

Probably won't be Motorhead because they are playing at the Midland with Reverend Horton Heat in October I believe.

IMold

Is Bob Evans or Old Country Buffet sponsoring this leg of the tour?

Steve

AC/DC have canceled, will be rescheduled, but no date set.

Bubba

I cannot find where AC/DC has canceled - according to the Ticketmaster and Sprint Center sites, the show is still on.

Steve

Not letting me link, but go to http://www.livedaily.com/ for the story.

Chico

Bubba, I think you've been to too many concerts....

Bubba

Chico, actually I have been to a lot of shows - especially here in the past month. Early this morning, I didn't think of looking on the actual AC/DC site.

What else am I going to do in Kansas City? Hang out in the all-too-many sucky bars and try to pick up some lass that'll JUST tease me? I think not.
