The auditorium of a midtown church served as a makeshift film set yesterday. A music video was being filmed for San Diego-based hip hop artist Grieves. As the photo suggests, the video will have a period theme. Hundreds if not thousands of music videos have been shot in Kansas City. Do you have a favorite? Did you participate in a video project? Tell us about it.

I'm thinking theres not a whole lot to pick from unless you go local; U2s "last night on earth" is all that really jumps out.
Anyone else?

Portions of both Ozzy Osbourne's Ultimate Sin and Shot in the Dark videos were filmed in K.C. The Ultimate Sin video has a fair amount of footage shot at Barney Allis Plaza and some of the Shot in the Dark concert footage is from Kemper. MTV filmed the entire 04/01/06 Kemper show for broadcast and it was released as a home video "The Ultimate Ozzy."
Metallica were the openers on their Master of Puppets tour. Great show.
