Saw Shooting Star at Kearney Amphtheater in Kearney MO
New venue, Awesome Awesome show

Local Band Change of Heart, Heart tribute band almost better than the real thing.

Tim Finn

i've heard the same thing about Change of Heart.

Ira

went to Omaha on the 9th for Keith Urban and Jason Aldean. Such an amazing performer. was able to record several videos, www.youtube.com/esttramp

Saw Mat Kearney and Erin McCarley at the Beaumont. Kearney was alright, but McCarley was quite impressive. She seems to be a sort of cross between Ingrid Michaelson, Meiko, and Sara Bareilles (all also Hotel Cafe alums). They must just grow em there.

Charley.

I saw The ACB's Friday night at recordBar. They were great and pretty well cemented themselves as my favorite band in town.

Penny

Any reports on Leon Russell at Knuckleheads?

pellboy

Kevin Gordon, an excellent singer-songwriter out of Nashville along with Webb Wilder at Knucklehead's on Saturday. Nice night, fun show.

JJ

Webb Wilder played a great set at Knuckleheads Saturday night.

pellboy

Webb never disappoints.

Tim Finn

I was thinking about Webb while i was at Il Divo.

Assumed there would be a review of the YES and ASIA gig at the Uptown. A show that may never come through here again. Was a good concert - both bands were great to experience. JON ANDERSON'S replacement was fine. As I heard someone else mention - be PATIENT for band reunions - like ASIA for example. Some of us waited for all four original members to reunite. Same with VAN HALEN, POLICE and STRAY CATS.

CV

just saw the review for asia/yes.

it was unreadable. the guy that writes those bad reviews reviewed that show i guess.

he's getting slammed by posters over there.

i can see why. i can't make heads or tails of his writing.

GS

Sam Bush and his band at Olathe Frontier Park rocked, bluegrassed, New Grassed, and jammed Friday night for 2 hours for FREE!
