Idiots requesting "Nuclear War" again? Grow up. This goes along with that post Tim wrote about concert etiquette. Let the band play what they want.

Wow, lots of Yo La Tengo love here. Guess this should have been a Springsteen review.

it was a great show. i liked it much better than the 2007 show - mostly because they played many of my favorites. i knew it was going to be good when they opened with "we're an american band," my favorite cut off "i can hear the heart beating as one." the next highlight for me was "more stars than there are in heaven," which was indeed a droning bliss-out.

i enjoyed times new viking as well. they are one of my favorite bands these days. a fun, noisy appetizer for YLT.

great show. the venue sucked, but the band was awesome. it's hard for me to rank what ylt show that i've been to is the best... they are all the best when i'm in the middle of them.

This is Lawrence, we don't believe in luxury in our entertainment venues. Allen Field house in a dump, and the Bottleneck, Liberty Hall, all trashy. More and more students are hitting KC P&L.
