If you frequent much of the local music scene, especially (but not only) the local jazz scene, chances are you've seen Jeff Harshbarger perform with somebody. This spring, Harshbarger was invited to join the alt-jazz/groove band the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey. The new gig will make a busier guy even busier, but it won't end or suspend the many music projects he has cooking in Kansas City. Read all about it here. For more videos, see below.

Great article and congratulations to Jeff. I just hope this doesn't mean the end of one of my new favorite KC bands - Miss America.

Not really familiar with any of the bands mentioned but that was a damn fine piece on what is apparently a very in-demand local musician. Nice work, TF and kudos to Mr.Harshbarger for representing KC so well.
