I have only been to a few ...

Coldplay - Sucked

Garth Brooks - Great Show

Pearl Jam - Good show but the lights came on early and Eddie was extra chattie

Paul McCartney - Great show, sound was a little boomie but i was up top so i didnt expect it to be clean

Tool - Good show but wanted more songs, security was terrible, it did sound great and thats usually not the case at Sprint, the sound was amazing that night

Forgot pearl jam. sorry tina. you're out.

Kurt

I've only been to one show so, its TSO. The concert was a 3:00 show on 12/23/09 and in lower level near ends. I could have paid the same for upper level and choose the matinee show instead.

It was probably the best sound I've ever heard for a major tour. The visuals were laser crazy, fire plumes and rising plateforms. It was like a mixture of several acts live visually. The music was neo-classical and interesting to merge it with metal and Christmas songs also.

Billy Joel

Here are my Top Five:

1) PAUL McCARTNEY

2) AC/DC - both shows - a tie

3) VAN HALEN

4) OZZY / ROB ZOMBIE

5) PEARL JAM - and TOM PETTY (another tie)

ABC

1) SPRINGSTEEN
2) POLICE
3) VAN HALEN
4) BILLY JOEL
5) BON JOVI SHOW 3

My list consists of one(Springsteen)at the SC (sadly, it should have been two) and will probably be my only until the next time he and band come through. In fact, I believe he's the only arena act that I've seen (multiple times, multiple arenas)in the past 15-20 years. HATE arena shows and only make the exception for The Boss because I HAVE to. Can't tell which...I'm either too old (hate the hassle of the arena experience) or too young (at heart, like to get up close and groove at smaller GA shows) to bother with them anymore but that's just me.

Sin City Disciple

Green Day.

Green Day
Neil Young

I actually turned down an offer from a cousin that offered to pay half of $29 behind stage tickets foe Bruce's August 2008 SC show. My cousin ended up not going and coundn't find anyone to go with.

I kick myself for not going to Bruce's August 2008 SC show. Bruce's October 2009 SC was cancelled an hour before show.

Another show I have to mention is U2 at Kemper in November 2001. That was an exceptional concert and needed to be mentioned, even though not at SC.

mankvill

I've only seen one show there, Metallica in 2008, but it was really great. Awesome sound and awesome bands.

I've been to 14 or 15 Concerts at Sprint and McCartney was easily the best. I had Upper Level seats for the show and enjoyed it more than the Springsteen show in 2008 when I was about 20 feet from the stage. That's not hyperbole, for me it's simply a fact.

I would also put Tom Petty's 2008 concert WAY up on the list. Oddly, his recent show for the MOJO album is probably my LEAST favorite Sprint Center show. I loved the Green Day show, but thought they were even better at Municipal on the AMERICAN IDIOT tour.

40wnks

Been to 3 shows. Green Day and AC/DC 2009 tied for best. Recent Petty show, not so much.

Musical Justice

1. Bruce
2. McCartney
3. Green Day/Franz Ferdinand
4. Pearl Jam
5. Neil Young

lettsrock

1. Pearl Jam
2. Bruce
3. Sesame Street Live

The high five from Grover almost gave the edge to Sesame Street over Bruce, but then again they didn't play Thunder Road...

Star Wars in Concert

Green

As good as McCartney was on Sunday it didnt touch my all time favorite, Pink Floyd Divison Bell Tour at Arrowhead.

Rick in PV

James Taylor/Carole King
Neil Diamond

Portia

Taylor Swift, Britney, Mylie and the Jonas brother were the best concerts ever at this place. No one can touch them, especially not some old guy like that Paul whats-his-name.

Ira

Bruce
Billy Joel
Brad Paisley
Tim Mcgraw

wadkc

James Taylor & Carole King was a perfect concert experience.

This is a stretch but So You Think You Can Dance tour last year was an audio/visual masterpiece. Really.

joeboo

Pearl Jam(epic 29-song set)
Green Day(endless energy)
Van Halen(1st show I saw at Sprint)
Metallica(solid as usual)
Petty/Winwood(great sound)
Tool(could have been longer, but sounded great)

gnc25

1-Tina Turner (first show) . . . I've seen Elton, The Stones, Garth, Fogerty, etc., and Tina had them all beat as far as putting on a real show.
2-The Police/Costello . . . not a big Costello fan, but no one else could pull off a three-piece band in an area that size.

Kurt

Green, Pink Floyd Division Bell tour is on the live DVD(Pulse). Its recorded at Earls Court Arena in London, UK during 14 shows at the arena in October 94. This were the only shows in the UK and nice to have it live in an arena.

That tour was in stadiums elsewhere.

Brian

only been to 3 shows:

1) best concert i've ever seen, even though i was yelled at to sit down during "Cadillac Ranch."
2) Dave Matthews Band, my favorite artist, and Willie Nelson opening was cool as well.
3) David Lee Roth either forgot a lot of words or ran out of breath, and I was yelled at to sit down during "Panama." The upper deck crowd at SC shows sucks big time.

everyman

correction-
The upper deck at EVERY ARENA ANYWHERE, ANY TME, ANY SHOW sucks big time

Winston KC

I'm with Keef.....
The '08 Petty show was really special. Full house on a Tuesday night and everyone on their feet for the whole show. Winwood was icing on the cake!
And yes, the MUNI Green day show was even better than the great SC show.
Sir Paul, 1st Bon Jovi '08 show, Mettalica, Billy Joel, Police/Costello, Springsteen, DMB, Tina!

And Jeff Beck! Oooopps, wrong venue!

Mark Garvey

Tool recently was the best show I've been to there and one of the best shows I have ever seen.

Green Day blew me away and I'm not a big Green Day fan.

Bruce in 2008 made me a big Bruce fan.

Pearl Jam put on a good show too recently.
