Word: Taylor Swift presale news

Here is what you need to know to get tickets to her Arrowhead Stadium show on Sept. 24:

The Kansas City Chiefs announced today that tickets for the Taylor Swift: Speak Now World Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11.  The Chiefs will offer a pre-sale to Jackson County, Mo., taxpayers and Chiefs  season-ticket holders for the Sept. 24 concert. All purchases will be subject to a six-ticket limit.

The presale for Jackson County  taxpayers will be offered on Monday, Feb. 7 and Tuesday, Feb. 8. Tickets may be purchased in person at select Ticketmaster outlets (see below) or at the Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office located between Founder’s Plaza and the Hy-Vee Gate on the northwest side of the stadium from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. No phone orders will be accepted for this special presale event.

For the Jackson County taxpayer presale, a “random number distribution” system will be used for this presale. The system provides each customer an equal chance to be first in line without the need for camping out or spending long hours in line during bad weather. Numbers will be distributed one hour before tickets go on sale. The complete Random Number Distribution policy is posted at KCChiefs.com.

Chiefs season-ticket holders can also participate in the presale via a link and password that will be emailed to them prior to February 7.

I see that tickets went on sale 02/07 (Mon) for Jackson County residents. The tour kicks off today at Singapore Indoor Stadium.
