I heard they wont allow moshing or crowd surfing at this show

Johnsonville Brat

I saw Kathleen Edwards at Knuckleheads a few years back and she is still one of Alt-Country's bright lights. As for Bon Iver, I never really gave him a chance. The British press praised the hell outta his debut album, which is almost a curse. They also claimed that Kings of Leon and The Strokes were two of the world's best Rock bands and I can't stand either one of them. They are just overrated musicians out to marry lingerie models and B-List actresses. Hype is never good. Just asked overrated artists like Lykke Li. But I digress.

But I would definitely go to this show for Kathleen, and if the price is right, I'd at least give Bon Iver a chance. After hearing that he has collaborated with that ego-maniacal bore, Kanye West, I would probably hate him, though. Anyway, isn't Los Lobos on the same night?? If so, hasta la vista, Mr. Bon Bon! Hola, 'The Wolves!'

Bettyblowtorch

I'm ignoring the first two comments completely. This will be a great show and saves me a trip to Chicago. Saw a smaller Bon Iver at ACL two years ago and they blew me away. Justin is fantastic and the larger, newer Bon Iver was tight on the Colbert show last night. Can't wait to see the new album live and "The Wolves pt 1 & 2" again.

Los Lobos instead

Yeah, and some of us will be ignoring the Bon Iver show.....completely.

Member of the church choir

Man, this Justin Bieber fan won't give it up for ANY other music. Dude, you DVR Jimmy Fallon's show? How cool COULD you be?

zzzzzz

Hey dude,
how about this, you have an opinion and I have an opinion... and post it and dont get personal. I dont give a fk what you think about anything. I posted an opinion. period.

I did not insult anyone here, or get judge anyone here, I said imunho that this band sucks.

Your continued troll posts say more about your insecurities than anything else.

OK, you win

Ok, you win. Bieber RULES!

Fed up

"Your continued troll posts say more about your insecurities than anything else."

Dude, when someone coined the term "troll" to describe an annoying, negative (and obviously lonely) waste of everyone's time on the Internet, they had YOU in mind. ROCKER/ZZZZZZZ, or whatever you're calling yourself today, you are the 'Uber-Troll.' You state that you don't give a %$#@ about anyone else's opinion, but what makes you think we want to read your constant negative crap?? Seek therapy and /or grow up! Go see a show (I'll bet you don't get out much), and bring us some positive feedback for a change.

But your constant "mellow pussie fest" posts (talk about getting "personal" - what a hypocrite)were stale and boring when you were plastering them on every thread here two years ago. Please, PLEASE grow up. I read and contribute to this blog, because I love all kinds of music and see my fair share of shows in a town that is fortunate enough to have a wealth of them. People like YOU ruin it for me, personally. By the way, I also liked Bon Iver on 'Colbert' the other night, to get us back on-topic.

p.s. the troll wrote: "I did not insult anyone here."

Ya might stroll back to your quote on Bon Iver, Trollamyte: "If you are a fan, drink some coffee and wake the fk up."

zzzzzzz

whew>>>heeewwww, FK YEAH!!!!!

Its the only music blog in KC. I couldnt care less what you say. I will continue to post my opinions. It is interesting to know I have at least one reader/stalker.

As was shown by the pathetic backtomellowfest.com review of the Crue from show last night, someone needs to support rock and roll in this town. Someone needs to tell the true story and we sure cant expect any support from lil pussies like you, eh pussyboy?

Go back to sleep you fkn loser mellowfest loving douchebag. Head on down to crossoradskc, the worst fkg shthole venue ever, see a country hillbilly act, groove on the mellowfest, or just go back sleep gramps, you worthless piece of sht.....

hahahaahha, nothing better to do than wag your finger at me?.... HAHAHAHAHAHAAH FK YEAH ROCK AND ROLL!!!!

Don't like Trucker/Rocker/Troll

Yep, this guy is a closet(ed) Justin Bieber fan. You wouldn't know Rock & Roll if it crapped on you.

zzzzzzz

""I love all kinds of music and see my fair share of shows in a town that is fortunate enough to have a wealth of them""

LIAR, you dont go out, you only love wacking you meat dwon in the basementboy

""Go see a show, and bring us some positive feedback for a change.""

I dont feel correct reviewing (offering my two cents) about shows I go to. That is like bragging about what you did, oh you are so cool..... but/or if they pay to tell them what I did last weekend, otherwise, uh no... private business.

I allow the reviewers here to do their job, and I offer my input.

Of course every once in a while one of the reviewers will botch a review(last nights Crue show) (sometimes I think they botch it on purpose, just to be "that mean ole nasty cliche reviewer" just to see the people react;)(nice try BB)(we know better, you're a good guy, our hero), then I will speak up, but other wise, who I saw last weekend in noneya.

anyway, pussy boy, if you ever get tired of wacking it in the basment, and really get out... if I see at a show, maybe I'll buy you a "near beer" (your fav pussy boy drink) I take care of my fans.

The Trumpster

Naw, you've never been to a concert. I'd bet my 401K on it.

Hank

yawn, no autographs, you creepy stalkers.
