Is that a joke? $27 per car to park?

concert chris

does that come with a wash and wax and a little pine tree air freshener?

wow.

Pellboy

No joke on the parking, $27 for Chiefs games as well this year.

KevRocket

It's $5 to park in the grass at Starlight, $10 to park in the lot. $27 seems to be a crock of $h!t PARTICULARLY in light of those attending not having many parking alternatives.

BTW (sorry to hijack) - Did anyone else see Louie CK on Letterman last night? He bagged a little on KC again. Specifically the KC Royals. Regardless I thought he was funny as hell.

Bob L.

As a music fan, I can't think of a worse way to spend an evening.

Chauncy

As a stabbing red hot needles in my eyes fan, I can't think of a worse way to spend an evening, than going to this cuntryfkdebacle.

$27?
yeah, I got your $27.00 right here in my

Bubba

Can YOU say highway robbery? I'll bet you can. You say 'cash only'? You talking about those green pieces of paper that have virtually no value anymore? I remember the stuff.

pellboy

In "defense" of the parking costs, it has been in that range ($20) for years now so it shouldn't really be a shock to anyone who has attended an event at Arrowhead in recent years. Also, it's an all-day event where pre-concert tailgating should be the norm with most vehicles having multiple riders to share expenses anyway.

Those hayseeds will booze it up all afternoon on cheap, store bought Keystone Lights, throw up in the parking lot and then go in refreshed for Zac and Kenny. Yeeeee hawwww!!!!!!!!

pellboy

Also, it's ALWAYS been a cash transaction. It's not like they have credit card machines in those little stands. That would only slow entry to a crawl if they did.

The Ghost of Peter Allen

Are we certain the name of this tour isn't "Goin' Bi-Coastal"?

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Clint

It sure is too much to park, tons of shows I go to don't cost that much.

But as one of the seemingly few country fans on this blog, I am still looking forward it. Should be fun.

Old School

Is there a reduced price for arriving in a sexy tractor?

Robert

No matter what the issue is pellboy is always there to take the other side of every argument, he likes the controversy, stirring the pot, putting a burr under the saddle... being a troll.

It doesnt matter if it cost $27.00too much to park, pellboy thinks that is fine, mainly because everyone else KNOWS it is BS.

If everyone here loved the dump, he would be the one to bash on it.

Pellboy

Yeah, that's me, always stirring the pot. Of course $27 is a ripoff, just stating that it's nothing new out Arrowhead. Of course, I guess I'm the rare breed of music fan that also attends Chiefs game so apparently I'm the only one who visits this site that knows Arrowhead parking has been astronomical for YEARS.

onthemark

Pellboy, you are such a malcontent! Don't you KNOW that this blog is reserved for reasonable and well thought out commentary only?

Tongue in cheek of course, have a great weekend everybody!

Vince Neil

Who is Kenny Chesney?

Kurt

I'll guess there will be 45,000 at this show. I'm not sure what the capacity is either. He does pretty good on tour but, has toured almost every year also. I don't think it will be a sell out with some of the high prices.

Hamster

That $27.00 parking fee otherwise buys you a ticket for TV On The Radio at Crossroads [actually, it's $28, but who's counting?].

Ellen K.

Pellboy, parking for Royals games -- the same set of parking lots -- is $10. I don't think it's a given that non-sports events will have the same charge as Chiefs games.

Me, I rarely spend that much even for the show itself.

Danny

Typically the non-sports events at Arrowhead will charge like that since the Chiefs get to book the stadium. Not that it should be that way...

I can imagine now what parking will be for the All Star week next year the The K. But yeah anything over $10 for a regular vehicle is quite ridiculous.

Barker

Fk the Chiefs, they suck worse than the Royals, becasue they could spend money equal to (but they cheepskate out and spend less) all the other teams... yet they have not won a payoff game in 25 years... CUZ THEY SUCK!!!

The Royals have a hard time competing because they can only afford 70 million compared to 300million Boston NY etc...

So fk the Chiefs , they are idiots, hiring a golf boy to coach them?? HAHAHA ....hiring "New England West" LMBO.... Clark Hunt is an idiot.

THE CHIEFS SUCK!!! They are just grabbing as much money as possible, while fuking over the fans... hmmmm?? are they run by the same scammers who run the crossroadskc?

What is the deal with all the money grabs going on, while proving nothing?

$27.00 to park a car? Can you imagine charging your wife/girl friend $27.00 per night to park in the driveway?

ps
see hampster, everyone can sway the converation to include the dump, just like you.

MetalHEAD

Huh....so much for improved discourse on this board.

Fellow Deadheads: I wish you all only peaceful travels. Always Be Kind.

PEACE

Larry

What? the Chiefs do suck, and $27.00 is a money grab.

MetalHEAD

Yeah.....you're right.

$27 dollars.....WOW....
