When did Chris Kattan become their lead vocalist?

Okay, that comment made me laugh.
PB, you just LOVE to stir up that hornet's nest, don't you?

Mango!!!!!
Yeah, kind of fun once I realized that VH had Rush-level defenders. Those two just haven't aged well and that song is very mediocre, but it'll be more about Panama than Tattoo come May 22nd.

PB I guess you missed AJ Soprano on bass.

Man, that is really bad. I don't know what else to say. Roth is a joke. I agree Pellboy, VH does have the Rush-level defenders. They graduated HS pre 1984. I liked the old VH stuff. Never thought it was the 2nd coming of Led Zepplin like some but it was good. I have always been a Sammy fan but always thought he was much better solo than with VH. Sammy is a much better guitarist than he ever got credit for. But it comes with the territory when you front bands for Ronnie Montrose, EVH and Neal Schon. Not exceptional but better than most lead singers. His solo shows were always a blast back in the day.

"His solo shows were always a blast back in the day."
Agreed until he became basically a harder rocking version of Jimmy Buffet/Kenny Chesney. While I'm jealous of his Cabo lifestyle, that stage schtick is an affront to his legit rocker past.

Sammy is a harder Billy Squier who is a harder Rick Springfield.

This sucks, the video is terrible as is the song, where are the girls where is the hook in the song, the solos are okay but we have heard that a million times. It's complete crap, come on! Usually they release the best song first, wow, the rest must be a complete joke. Why can't they write a good song, how do you lose that edge, hell have someone else write it if this is what you put out.

As a 48 year old VH fan, I have a hard time with the vitriol associated with the boys. Sure Eddie has made some bush league moves over the years, but it is hard to deny the rock here. The legacy speaks for itself, as in multi, multi platinum sales, be it Sam or Dave at the mic. I think the single sounds fresh and new. Ready for the tour and I think Ed may have finally grown up a bit. this is from a guy who just likes to rock, be it Zep, Stones Who, Beatles or Florence, for that matter.
