Straight from the maw of the PR machine, regarding next week's shows:" 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' will honor Bruce Springsteen with a weeklong musical tribute Monday through Friday (11:35 p.m. on Channel 41/NBC) to celebrate the launch of his new album, "Wrecking Ball," which will be released on Columbia Records March 6. Each night, the show's featured musical guest will perform selected songs from his extensive catalog." Above, Fallon and Springsteen spoof Neil Young.
Here is a review of the new album:

Springsqueen is a posing 1%er who does a great job posing/acting like he is a common man. Fallon is a fawning little girl who giggles through interviews. The roots seem like a SNL punchline band for a skit about a supposed silly teenage white boy's talk show. The whole thing is a mess and combined for a full week? It should be quite nauseating for any fans of real music and/or quality late night shows.

I hate Jimmy Fallon. If I was told that I could get away with murdering five people, he would be on that list.

Recorded Monday night's show and watched it yesterday. Springsteen and the E-Street Band played, "We Take Care Of Our Own" and "Wrecking Ball" and tore it up! As you'd expect, Bruce is not going to hold back when he's in front of the E Street Band and he and the guys played their hearts out. I will risk some barbs for this, but I still, after all these years, can't quit seem to accept Patti Scialfa as part of that band. She's no Yoko, but she wasn't there when I saw Bruce at The Sprint Center a few years back and I can't say that it made a difference. I hear some of her solo stuff is OK, but she doesn't seem to add much to the whole E-Street vibe...at least for me.

Geordan, check out her solo album 'Play It As It Lays'. Pretty tasty!
