They're coming to the Riot Room on May 18, a Friday, with the folk duo Two Gallants. Sweet. For some Record Store Day news, see below.
"In a Record Store Day exclusive, the Bronx and Mariachi El Bronx will release a split 12-inch on April 21. The special splatter-colored vinyl features both bands in their element - rocking their ferocious live show for rabid fans at intimate clubs from Brooklyn to Stockholm. The six-song collection includes a cover of Hanoi Rocks' classic "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" that features a guest appearance by the legendary Michael Monroe of Hanoi Rocks."

Saw 'em open for the Foo's last year and the thought of a full headlining set by these guys makes my head hurt. Just didn't like them.......

As a counter point, Geordan, I too was at that show and believe these guys will rule in a small venue. I was impressed by their set opening for the Foos and plan to be at this show.

Thanks for posting this, Tim.
I'm going. If I hadn't seen it here I wouldn't have known about it!
As I find venues that I sometimes see shows at, I'm always meaning to subscribe to their e-mail base.
Looks like I oughta do the same with the Riot Room.
By the way, does anyone know who are the add-on or special guests at Experience Hendrix tonight?
The poster says something about that...
For those on the fence, they've got a 'two for one' offer. Not selling well, I'm guessing.
It's always a great show IMO.
My hope is that some of these guitarists may make their way down to K'Heads later. Paul Thorne & Ruthie Foster are there tonight.
