Let's just start this one off by apologizing in advance to Sid.
Each week we ask readers to send their photos from recent shows to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we post some here and print some in the Preview section of The Star.
Paul Sixta of Lee's Summit sent us the above photo from ZZ Top's performance at the Midland. "I think what bothered me the most besides having to stand all through the show was that they played around 75 minutes, far too short in my mind," he said. "At least they played several songs from their 'Tres Hombres' album, which helped make up for it.
More after the jump.
Ellen Kozisek sent us this photo of Shelley Weiss from Barleyjuice at the Weston Irish Fest. "Barleyjuice are a very fun band," she said. "And great to watch."
Shae Delancy of Olathe said Owl City's recent show at the Beaumont Club was amazing. "After years of listening to Owl City, it was the best experience to finally see Adam Young live," she said.
