Geordan

Looking way ahead into February, two Knuckleheads shows stand out. First is American Aquarium on Friday, 2/1. They impressed the hell out of me and about two dozen others when we saw them earlier this year. With a 2012 release produced by Jason Isbell, American Aquarium is making their play to be near the top of the current Alt-Country heap and are a hard-working and fun live band. Then, on Thursday, 2/14, a Valentine's Day show by the lovely and talented Carrie Rodriguez. Loved her show at Knuckleheads on the "Love & Circumstance" tour a couple of years back and she will hit KC with a new album (her fifth) released in January, called "Give Me All You Got." Looking forward to both shows.

American Aquarium sounds like they'd be right in my wheelhouse, I need to check them out. Thanks Geordan!

Are they named after the wilco lyric?

Geordan

Actually, I'm not sure of their name's origin, Endtro. But if you like Alt-Country that Rocks, try and check these guys out. Their singer, BJ Barham, is one cool front man and I remember him addressing the crowd and telling hilarious road stories while swigging from a monster bottle of Jameson Irish Whisky. The band also plays with a lot of heart and although they played to a small crowd at Knuckleheads that night, they gave 110%. That was cool, as it was a cheap show and I knew next to nothing about the band at that point. They truly impressed me, which is always a pleasant surprise when seeing a band for the first time.

Vandelay

They're surely named after the Wilco lyric.

Tickets for the Mangum show just went online at ticketmaster.

Thanks for the tip on American Aquarium. I'm liking what I've heard so far.

Aunque yo hubiera preferido que usted entró en un detalle poco más, todavía tengo la esencia de lo que quería decir. Estoy de acuerdo con él. Tal vez no sea una idea popular, pero tiene sentido. Sin duda volveremos para más de esto. Gran trabajo work.Good, blog maravilloso ... realmente lo disfruto y lo añadí a mis marcadores sociales. Sigan con el buen trabajo
