I want to hear some AC/DC on spoyify, but they are not on there.

I saw this band perform this song at SXSW last March and was blown away by the performance.

I've been enamored with Bourgeois Tagg's "I Don't Mind At All" lately. I had to purchase the CD YoYo on Amazon since iTunes doesn't have it.
It's power pop at it's finest. A nice one hit wonder for the band.

Great Record WADKC! Produced by one of my big heros...Todd Rundgren. Final Track, Coma,is some kind of reference to drug abuse/death? A real spacey vibe on that tune.

Stones just got off the stage in London for the first of five 50th anniversary show, apparently they kicked serious ass... had Taylor and Wyman back for a song or two.... had Mary J blige as a guest on gimme shelter. Look for full blown reviews on the net.

Lonerism by Tame Impala (imagine Beatles/ Beach Boys/ Supertramp/ Todd Rundgren's love-child) has been getting a lot of play from me since it came out in October. On the guilty pleasure side, I have been listening to Ten$ion by Die Antwoord (the Afrikaner rap-rave group) pretty much non-stop since about June. YouTube some of the "official" music videos if you want to go "WTF did i just see?".

She's no Merry Clayton but Mary J. sure does blow the hell out of Fergie. And yes, Bloodshot Records scores again with JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound.

I've been listening to the Allen Stone show from earlier this month a lot, and he had a fantastic opener named Selah Sue. She's from Belgium and plays with a band in Europe, but was playing solo acoustic sets to open for Stone. Here are a couple of videos:

Radney Foster "Del Rio, Texas Revisited: Unplugged and Lonesome". I got it at his show in the Gospel Lounge at Knuckleheads last week. The acoustic/bluegrass vibe really brings out the character in these songs. There's a terrific new song called "Me and John R." that he co-wrote with Darden Smith.
