They've announced their 2013 tour and it's coming to Starlight Theatre on April 4, a Thursday.

Has anyone ever seen this band live? I've listened to their music and it's interesting enough, but I would like that onstage it would be the equivalent of watching a lava lamp.

Yeah, Dave - I saw SIGOR ROS at the Uptown - about six years ago. The place was packed and I do remember the band (seems to) have had a language of their own, as fans were mentioning to me. Their music is a bit tough to categorize. They're DEFINITELY worth checking out in a live setting.

Their live shows are pretty fantastic. I'm really annoyed I won't be able to go to this show.

Thanks for the feedback, I'd love to go check them out and Starlight would be a great place to see them, BUT it's the first night of the Middle of the Map Fest so I might have to pass. Hate it when the overlap happens.

Sigur Ros will be far better than any band you see at MOTM, in my opinion. Worth seeing them and skipping out on night 1.

Thanks Nathan, I've been listening to their music on Spotify and I am really leaning towards seeing them live. And Starlight seems the perfect place for it.

April 4th may be a bit dicey for an outdoor show, weather-wise. Might be 70 degrees, might be 30.
