Organizers announced more than three dozen more bands and performers for this year's festival, which is May 30 through June 2 in Ozark, Ark. They include Dispatch, Calexico (above), Umphrey's McGee, Mutemath, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Emancipator, the Coup and Band of Heathens. For more information on the lineup and tickets, go here.
Those are some pretty underwhelming additions. Maybe they're saving the good bands for round three?

If you look at the top of the bill on the artist roster on the official Waka website, it lists Widespread in the No. 1 slot and Dispatch at No. 2. Amon Tobin, who I must admit I'd never heard of, is at No. 5 and Umphrey's McGee is listed at No. 7.
So, there's still room for a couple bigger-named acts, but I think underwhelming is the right word.

I actually think Calexico and Band of Heathens are some solid additions, but still not enough to lure me down there. Plus, I'm catching Calexico in Lawrence in a few weeks. BoH is great, but I'm hopeful that they'll also come thru the area sometime during spring or summer.

BoH and Calexico are indeed both great bands. But along the lines of PBs comments, I would rather pay $20 bucks a pop to see them headline at Knuckleheads rather than drop $150 to see them play abbreviated sets in the midst of 3 days of meaanering jam band aimlessness.
