Goals don’t get much loftier or more ambitious than the goals of a band that calls itself the Australian Pink Floyd Show, especially if it promises an evening filled with visual thrills and stimuli.
On Wednesday, Sept. 7, nine local movie theaters, including four IMAX theaters, will present "Wynton Marsalis and Eric Clapton Play the Blues," a replay of the duo's April 8 concert at Rose Hall in New York. Here's Rolling Stone's account of the show, which includes eight members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center's Orchestra and a guest appearance by Taj Mahal. Show time is 7:30 p.m. For tickets, go here.
