We'll let you read it the way it arrived in our e-mail basket:
The highly anticipated reunion of Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward appears to be shaping up and taking a new form. After various promoters have approached their respective management; the guys have started taking all of this very seriously, as they have wanted to reunite for some time now. It looks as if the new shape may be that of “Heaven and Hell.” Yes, that's the moniker that the band is likely to use on their new venture.
If all goes well, Heaven and Hell should be hitting the road in early 2007.
Obviously, Dio's hard up for money and the others are tired of waiting on Ozzy to get his wife's permission to leave the bathroom.

Wow. Never seen this posting before. I've always said this - but why doesn't Ozzfest feature HEAVEN & HELL instead for one summer and allow OZZY to take the season off? Gary - that's a scream! OZZY asking Sharon's permission to take a dump. I saw SABBATH in 1980 at Municiple on their 'H & H' tour with BLUE OYSTER CULT. When RONNIE JAMES and crew came on, the crowd was simply too tired to make much noise. Opener was some Kansas City band, the NICE GUYS, sort of like a FLEETWOOD MAC wanna-be. Anyone else remember this blessed event?

Bubba, I was there. They called it the "Black & Blue" tour.

Wadkc - I remember that - the Black And Blue tour - I don't USUALLY refer to vintage tours as such by their 'tour name' but the band(s) that were there. Like, for example, the following year, KY presented the 'Blue Fog' tour with FOGHAT and BLUE OYSTER - didn't attend that show. At the time, I knew two sophomores that gig was their very first concert. Rock 4-ever on!

Ahh... Black and Blue. Those were the days. Saw them live but first saw them on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. Anybody remember that show? 1980 sounds about right.
