I saw Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Band in thick, heavy heat under one of the sideshow tents at Wakarusa last summer, and they made music that fit the surroundings. They're not so damn big -- they're a trio -- but their sound is enveloping and irresistable: swampy, scuzzy, down-home blind-lemon Delta country/blues (with a Cajun accent). Tuesday night, the Reverand and his mates will be at Knuckleheads, the blues bar by the railroad tracks east of City Market. Admission is $8.
