His latest album, "Tech N9ne Collabos: Misery Loves Kompany," a collection of collaborations, sold more than 13,500 copies its first week, making it No. 3 on Billboard's Independent chart (behind the Hairspray soundtrack and the new Spoon album), No. 23 on its R&B/Hip-Hop chart and No. 49 on its overall Billboard 200 chart. "Collabos" also stimulated sales of last year's "Everready" CD, which jumped 13 percent. Soundscan sales are now around 105,000 copies. The numbers don't lie or exaggerate. Tech N9ne will perform Saturday night, July 28, at Memorial Hall with the Kottonmouth Kings as part of the Strange Noize Tour.
