Here's what we've heard is definitely going to happen:
Rascal Flatts (above) and Van Halen will bring their tours to the Sprint Arena before "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" appears on TBS.
Here's what we heard might/maybe-could happen:
Garth Brooks will perform at the Sprint Arena several days in a row; each show will be filmed for a TV special to be aired early next year.
So if the Elton John thing didn't work out for you, there's your chance to see an aging, big-time act in the new arena.
"Garth Brooks will perform at the Sprint Arena several days in a row"
i'll make sure there's enough food in the pantry so i don't have to go out for several days. do you think one of the nights he'll do the show as his alter-ego "chris gaines"? i hope so.
elton john
garth brooks
van halen
rascall flatts
...still waiting to spend my hard earned.

Is this fact or fiction?
Are you kidding me VAN-JOKELIN?
Geez, dumbing down of America is complete!
Can't we get Van Morrison or Eric Clapton..ya know someone with real talent. And I know they won't atract a wide audience(read: DUMB and Uneducated).
But really...aren't we supposed to admire the best and the brightest?
When the history of music is written Eddie van Joke and David lee Fraud---won't have a footnote!
Please..Help us!

Where has that guy been? Clapton just came through KC. Van Morrison would be cool though.

Keith Richards-I think Van Halen's first album is a classic. You and Mick should give it a spin sometime.

Van Halen has and always will kick in concert. All of Van Halen's Diamond Dave albums were unbelievable. Having him back in the band is a true concert experience. I hope they don't attract a wide audience so I can get better tickets.
Sincerely,
A proud member of the "dumb and uneducated" society of America!

Not all of their albums were that stellar, Ray. "Diver Down" showed they were treading water as many covers as they did on it. I think "Fair Warning" is the underrated one.
