News: The Hurricane is closed ... for now The first evidence appared on the Leo Project's MySpace page, where they announced that Saturday's show at the Hurricane, 4048 Broadway, had been canceled. Then the band Sidewise announced at it MySpace page that tonight's show at the Hurricane had been moved to Danny's South. So we called Jon Lunkwicz over at the Beaumont Club and he said the Hurricane closed early this week because the person who owned much of the sound equipment in the place took it back, for reasons that need confirmation and elaboration. We're trying to get a hold of the club's owners. Stay tuned...
