An '80s revival in Lawrence

They  won't be there, but chances are good you'll hear an Embarrassment song if you show up at Burcham Park in Lawrence on Saturday. The informal 1980s reunion begins at 1 p.m.

If you hung around the Lawrence music scene in the 1980s, you are invited to a reunion from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Burcham Park in Lawrence. DJ Ray Velasquez will spin ’80s music, and lots of musicians and scenesters from that era are expected to show up, too. It’s all informal and “bring your own everything.”
