How long will it be until LiveNation and Ticketmaster have completed the merger and become one?

It took Sirius and FM radio years for approval, so maybe this will too.

Just wondering, how good will the $50 tickets be vs. the $75 ones?

The $75 tix may be in the Orch and Box Seats - check your seating chart for Starlight on Ticketmaster's site. The $50 tix will likely be in the Plaza and Terrace seats. This is what most shows were like at Starlight in 2008. When I saw last summer that POISON seats in the first three rows up front were going for like $150 each, I could NOT believe it.

I checked with Starlight:
$36.50 = Terrace
$49.50 = Plaza
$75.00 = Orch/Box ($92.50 with fees, btw)
$130 = Producer's Circle (something like $170 with fees)

And can someone tell Ticketmaster they have the Nine Inch Nails and The Frey dates wrong. They have The Frey on 5/27 and NIN on 7/22.

Starlight's ticketing system could not be more worthless. I'd have gladly paid the Ticketmaster fees to not have my session time out every time I attempted to buy tickets. Result, no tix for me. F you Starlight, buy a bigger server.

I had no problems.

Wow! Tickets on sale for an hour and a half and what's left is the terrace seats with double letter rows.
Was not sure what was going to happen. Heard Columbia had 6K in November, they had about 10K and Kemper in 2006. With a tough economy, but a famous opening act, did not know what to expect. Tickets where high, but look at the No Doubt tickets, alot higher.

I think the fact that they played Kemper in 2005, and were just in Columbia last November, they figured Starlight this time around would be about right.
I think it is actually pretty impressive that they managed to just about sell out in a matter of days, with fairly high prices in a down economy.
I saw NIN in 2005, and am stoked to see them again this time around

FYI, go on the nin.com website for a FREE 6 song tour sampler, with two new songs each from Nine Inch Nails, Jan's Addiction, and Street Sweeper.
