OMG, they're going to be at an arena for this tour! The last time Rush was at an arena was for the Counterparts tour in 1994 at Kemper Arena.
Rush has been at Sandstone in 1997, 2002, 2004 and 2007 and Starlight in 2008 and 2010. I've seen Rush seven times including, twice at an outdoor venue.

Last time RUSH did an indoor gig here was in April, 1994 with PRIMUS as support band. Does anyone else happen to remember the hail & sleet storm that Kansas City had encountered that same day?
Posted by: Bubba Brown | February 19, 2013 at 02:23 PM
Bubba, I remember even worse weather at a Rush show in Nov 1991 at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka,KS. It was snowing, sleeting and freezing rain that evening. Rush ended up coming to Kemper Arena in May 1992 and I wished I had waited. It was the Roll the Bones tour and Mr. Big was the opener act.

The Sprint Center website says that tickets are $51, $76 and $126 plus a $2.00 venue fee if bought at the arena box office.

I remember that freak april snow storm. That was a great show!

Kurt, I believe that I was at that RUSH concert in 1992 @ Kemper Arena with MR. BIG as opener. Before I decide to attend GEDDY LEE & company this time around, I would need to take a look at their setlist. I was a bit disappointed when I saw them in 2007 at Verizon. Oh, their light show was phenomenal (in every sense of the word) but I wasn't at all impressed with that gig's set list. Some were saying that they butchered the BLUE CHEER classic hit "Summertime Blues". Oh, well.

I bet Rush gets a large section of fans from the Taylor Swift shows that weekend.

Bubba, my brother that lives in the Chicago metro saw Rush on Sept 15, 2012 at the United Center. He paid for top ticket at $151 plus ticketing fees. My Brother said that they played most of Clockwork Angels from 2012 and did a lot of stuff from the 80s era such as, Power Windows from 1985.
He said that they had a great stage show with great lighting and video show.

Set 1 is very heavy on 80's era - Power Windows, Grace Under Pressure, etc. - which is great considering they've largely ignored those albums for much of the past 4 or 5 tours.
Set 2 is mostly Clockwork Angels, but it ROCKS live (and on record, but even moreso live). 2112 gets its fair share as well. Color me excited.

My brother in law lives in LA and is a huge Rush fan. 8/4 is his 50th birthday and we are going to fly him in for the show. Should be a good time.

The Canadian economy must be doing much better than the U.S. $90+ for a lower bowl seat is just far too much for any band. Call me crazy.. Wish I could make this one. Never seen Rush before.

Aaron Braun, It's worth the money for Rush and they put on an awesome show. Rush is both a great music and stage show. There are tickets for $51 and $76 and don't have to get the $126 tickets either. Go to the arena box office this Mon at 10AM and save lots on the ticketing fees. The only fee is a $2.00 venue fee.

I imagine they do put on an AMAZING show but $100 is out of the question I have never spent that much on a single show. Would settle on the cheap seats if it was anywhere other than sprint center. If you're not on the floor or lower bowl there you might as well stay home. Being up stairs at Sprint is miserable.

Saw a list of the richest drummers and Neil Peart's net worth is $22 million. That was fairly low on the list of rich drummers also.

Saw on the Sprint Center website that upper level A for $51 and lower level for $126 is sold out.
I've looked at their seating chart and there's no upper level being sold for Rush. It shows that they've sold out upper level A though. What's correct?
